Unplug the power supply and re-plug in. Change the IP address of the computer running the (iVMS-4200) software. Still no luck. I am left with "The User is locked" or "Username and password error" for the two cameras i am having issues with.
Weirdest thing today one of my HikVision camera was showing wrong username/password in BI. I can still get to the interface but my password doesn't work. All 12 of my cameras have the identical password. Port number remains unchanged so this tell me the camera wasn't factory reset but my pw no longer works.
I can use the tool here to easily reset the password and it works great. Sometimes it continues to work for anywhere from a few days to a few weeks before I have to reset it again. I'm happy with the camera when it works and see no reason to change it until it is completely dead. I have other Hikvision cameras on the same network with no issues.

Use SADP to find the IP address of the camera if you don't know it already. And change the IP address reference above to match. Second, try the updated version of the password reset tool here : Hikvision camera admin password reset tool. You might just still have the 'Hikvision backdoor' in your firmware.
